Why puppy grooms are so important

Many people think you should leave a puppy's first groom until they NEED a groom. However, it is important to start desensitising them and getting them used to the environment once they have had their second jabs.

Whilst I have my own private room within the salon, the grooming salon can still be a busy, noisy setting with other dogs, people, baths and dryers.

I offer puppy sessions to allow them time to get used to the environment, and also time to get used to me!

Having a puppy who is relaxed within the salon environment means I will be more likely to give them the groom they need.
